conTAK - Support for Young Adults
About Us:
conTAK identifies itself with support for all young adults who live with cancer, including relatives, friends and carers, as well as those who have other long-term illnesses. All our members are aged sixteen years and upwards.

What do we offer you?
We offer support which fulfils your individual needs, and have access to complementary therapies and counselling. Our main strength, however, is that we offer company and understanding, and we offer ourselves to stand by you all the way!

Youth Forum
A new Youth Forum has been set up to develop a youth led forum and provide a platform for the interests of young people across Scotland who are affected by cancer. Visit the Youth Forum today and talk to other people who are affected by cancer.

What do we do?
We meet every two weeks at the Oasis, 260 Bath Street (courtesy of Renfield St Stephen's Church, Glasgow) and have regular Pub Quiz get-togethers during some of the weeks in between. The most popular event of all is the time we get together to chat and share. We also get out and about to the cinema, bowling, and visiting places like Sargent House. If there's an excuse to 'chill' together, we're on.

conTAK is a great group for meeting new friends who really 'know how you feel' and for kicking illness into touch and getting on with life.
