The West of Scotland Melanoma Group has been formed in face of an increase in skin cancer, and can offer help and advice to all who are dealing with melanoma. Co-founded by Tak Tent and Professor Rona McKie of the Department of Dermatology, University of Glasgow, the group has the benefit of expert medical input and offers support and friendship to all those touched by skin cancer in the West of Scotland.

The Melanoma Support Group meets at Haggs Castle Golf Club on the third Tuesday of the month during British Summer Time and the third Wednesday during the winter months.

On arrival, simply enter through the front door of the clubhouse, ring the buzzer and say that you are attending the support group meeting. The business meeting starts at 7:00pm. Most people arrive straight from work which gives an opportunity for informal support and information swaps. The meeting begins officially at 7:30pm.
